OTR is recruiting a key senior role to provide strategic and operational leadership and oversight of people and culture issues to improve our work environment, develop a strong organisational culture, and align people practices with OTR’s objectives.
The Head of People & Culture will:
- Develop, implement, and monitor people & culture strategies, policies, and procedures to meet the organisation's needs
- Provide expert professional judgement, advice, and guidance to key stakeholders across OTR on people and culture issues
- Provide specialist and complex professional HR guidance and support to OTR managers.
- To work on, in collaboration with OTR's EDI consultants and SLT, delivering OTR's Equity, Diversity & inclusion strategy, promoting and developing best practices and contribute the development across the wider organisation.
- To ensure that HR policies and practices are implemented and comply with employment law, HR good practice, and support the employee experience.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced senior HR generalist with the ability to develop and execute long-term people plans, whilst leading the day-to-day operations of a small HR function within a charity.
You will have a strong background in HR management and be CIPD qualified, with proven experience in handling all aspects of employee relations, excellent knowledge and understanding of key issues affecting HR, and experience in developing and influencing organisational culture and strategy.
